HOLIDAY TRAVELS

It's been an eventful December so far; I've been traveling the first two weeks of the month and it felt great to get away from California for awhile. I went to Seattle with my friend Crystal, and then San Francisco the following week with Steven.

SEATTLE

This was our first time visiting Seattle, and it definitely didn't disappoint. We had checked the weather a few days before our departure, and saw rain clouds for all the days we were there. Turns out their rainy weather is sporadic, so it lightly rains off and on throughout the day. Whereas in California, where we're currently in a drought, the rain pours for long periods of time.

We did all the things a tourist would do: visit the Space Needle, eat clam chowder (both red and white), witness the Chihuly Glass Gardens and eat more delicious seafood.

SAN FRANCISCO

Steven's never been to San Francisco, so I was excited to show him the city. We flew up on his birthday, and celebrated accordingly with good food. Our friends gave us an extensive list of things to see and do, but four days was definitely not enough. We did our best, and visited the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf and the Mission District.

For 2016, I want to travel often. Whether it's locally or internationally, exploring new places and breaking out of routine is what I want to do in the upcoming year.
