Because I'm still new to the game, I've taken every opportunity I can when offered to be a photography assistant. However, it's one thing to watch and learn how to run a test shoot, but it's another thing to actually be the main photographer and direct. I was nervous for my first test, but felt at ease (with the help my wonderful stylists and assistant!) once I started shooting.
The concept for this shoot was Japanese street style: loose and baggy, denim-on-denim, pops of color and textures; we did our best to replicate the mens' fashion scene in Japan. Here are the photos:
