I had so much fun doing this test shoot with my model, Vinny (Instagram) -- he was super easygoing and chill. Going into this shoot I had certain poses in mind, and he executed them smoothly. We shot underneath one of the bridges in Downtown LA, and his outfits definitely fit the location.

Because I'm still new to the game, I've taken every opportunity I can when offered to be a photography assistant. However, it's one thing to watch and learn how to run a test shoot, but it's another thing to actually be the main photographer and direct. I was nervous for my first test, but felt at ease (with the help my wonderful stylists and assistant!) once I started shooting.
